smarter ai and it's harder?


Hello everyone,

Another update for Spells and Shenanigans is here! This one focuses on refining the core experience, making the game more challenging and stable. Here's what's new:

What's New in This Update:

  • Smarter foes: Enemy AI has been upgraded! Wizards can now utilize the full arsenal of spells, making every encounter more challenging and dangerous.
  • Performance Enhancements: We've tackled lag and optimization issues head-on with a revamped rendering system, resulting in a much smoother framerate.
  • Safe Spawning: Added an invincible blue spawn platform to prevent the classic (and frustrating) "falling out of the map" trap after enemies (or you) have destroyed it
  • Increased Challenge: With the enemy AI's new spell-casting capabilities, the game is now significantly more challenging. Prepare yourself!

A Glimpse into the Future:

We're already hard at work on the next major update, which will include:

  • Selectable Difficulties for both new apprentices and archimages.
  • A wealth of new spells and a system for rotating maps to keep the gameplay fresh.
  • Visual Customization: Look forward to new wand skins, an improved map, and upgraded 3D models.
  • A full Leveling System to track your progress and power.
  • biggest of all i am planning a multiplayer mode but this is in early development and may not be for a while
  • adding more things to levels with the current optimization and lag setup i had to remove some parts of the map and i do apologize for this
